Katalin Nun Stewart

Katalin Nun Stewart is an instructor at BISLA, who teaches courses in Western Civilization, Literature, History, and Women’s Studies. She received her PhD in German Studies at the Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main in Germany (2000). She also has a Teaching Credential from the Eötvös Loránd University Budapest (1993) and a Journalism Degree from the Danish School of Journalism (2005).

She has published books and articles on the history of women in Denmark in the 19th century and on German and Hungarian youth literature in its social-political context from 1945 to 1989. Her main languages of publication are English, German, Danish, and Hungarian.
