Adam Bence Balazs

Adam Bence Balazs is a fellow researcher at the LCSP (Centre for Social and Political Change), Université de Paris (formerly Paris 7 – Denis-Diderot University). Formerly a post-doctoral researcher at Sofia University St. Kliment ‘Ohridski’ and a visiting fellow at the Graduate Institute in Geneva, he is currently a lecturer at the Andrássy University in Budapest. Master’s degree in political science (Central European University, Budapest), PhD in political philosophy (LCSP, Paris 7), his current research focuses on new political perspectives for Europe, between geopolitics and culture. Besides exploring the historiography of the European present, he also works as an editor, committed to the European integration of the Western Balkans. After co-editing a volume on regional identities in the V4 and the WB (Nomos Verlag, 2020), he is currently editing a new collection of studies on the perspectives and deadlocks of Europeanization in Montenegro and its regional neighbourhood (to be published in 2022).
