Dagmar Kusá took part in an event connected to the launching of the Scholars at Risk network in Slovakia, titled Focusing on Freedom, organized by the Bratislava Policy Institute. In the present day, academic freedom is a threatened commodity and academics have to network to safeguard plurality, monitor educational policies and institutional politics, raise voices against trespassing against freedoms, and provide refuge if need be.
